Everton 5-0 West Ham
29th September 2001

Everton came into the match in awful form, losing four games on the trot, including a 4-1 thrashing against Man United. They were in search of a much needed win at home to West Ham, and they got more than requested! Kevin Campbell got the match off to a frantic start as he nearly scored just after half a minute. Pembridge was outstanding for Everton during the first half and had few chances to give Everton the lead, however just before the half time whistle, a fine Everton move resulted in a Kevin Campbell goal. Mark Pembridge continued his great form in the second half as his great move created a goal for Don Hutchinson to score. Everton continued to dominate the match and Thomas Graveson scored a fine solo goal to make it 3-0. Everton scored a forth with 15 minutes left as Steve Watson scored a simple tap in. The party then officially started with ten minutes remaining as Radzinski scored Everton’s fifth to finish the match of 5-0.
