 Everton 1-0 Manchester United (FA Cup Final 1995)
Everton made all the early play in this thrilling encounter as Andreas Limpar came close early on. Brian McClair came close, 15 minutes into the match, as his shot hit the cross bar. On the half hour mark, Steve Watson ran well with the ball and passed the ball to Jackson who then hit the cross bar and Paul Rideout headed the rebound into the net to put Everton a goal to the good. Only five minutes later, Limpar came agonizingly closing to scoring a second for Everton.
Everton continued their impressive display in the second half and Duncan Ferguson came close on the hour mark to scoring a second.
Man United threw everything at Everton in the final ten minutes of the game as Giggs came close from a curling free kick. Everton however held on, winning the match 1-0.
