Mike Pejic

5-1980)Mike Pejic’s amazing football career commenced during the 1968-69 season. His first team was Stoke City, a club which to this current day he is considered an all time great. He was an important member of the Stoke first team during their emphatic success of winning the league cup final in 1972. They defeated Chelsea at Wembley, 2-1 in what has proved to be their only major trophy in their history in the game. He later on had lengthy spells starring for Everton and Aston Villa. He was an FA Cup runner up in 1977 with Everton.

Bob Latchford

Latchford switched to Everton from Birmingham City, for a then English record fee of £350000. At the Merseyside club, he was their top goal scorer for six seasons running, his outstanding season being the 1977-78 campaign as he netted in 30 goals. Latchford has a stunning goal record for Everton, scoring 138 goals in his 268 appearances for the club, an average of one goal every other match. Latchford later on moved from Everton to play for Welsh club, Swansea.
